PROTECS was hired to renovate existing warehouse and office space to create a new collagen manufacturing suite. This included all new mixing tanks, handling control and containment of corrosive and acid materials. The facility was designed and constructed for Current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) and a commissioning plan was developed and implemented by PROTECS and the owner accordingly.

PROTECS was tasked with the conversion of an existing warehouse into cGMP manufacturing space including the relocation of process equipment from a site in California to the new location in Southeastern Pennsylvania.
The project needed to be completed within a short timeframe due to Client’s manufacturing commitments.
Cost containment was also a critical component for this project. PROTECS was successful in delivering the suite within the time and cost constraints.
This client is an orthobiologics and biosurgery company that develops medical devices, specializing in fusion, regeneration, and fixation of human bone.
