The project scope involved upgrading and replacement of the site-wide fire alarm system inclusive of a fiber-optic network for all fire alarm control panels in the various mechanical, laboratory and high containment buildings on the facility’s campus. Also required for the project, were power service upgrades involving the addition of 15 kV Switchgear sections, new power distribution panels and circuits along with providing new centralized UPS systems serving the various areas and critical use facility systems on the campus
